Just noticed a lot of the major news don’t appear on this site, or is it just not always worth reporting the latest news?
I’ll be glad to start posting anything major I find if everyone is ok with that.

Yeah go ahead and post the news id like to read it 
I get google alerts on schizophrenia, mental health, etc. - so generally post things that are relevant. We focus on the science news - not the negative news that can come out about people who have schizophrenia, etc.
Please do feel free to post stuff - just keep it positive and related to science or medicine that can, hopefully, be useful to people.

I have google alerts for schizophrenia and other psychiatric issues in my rss feeds. Often post stuff I find there.
Everyday i google Schizophrenia in search of hope.i get nothing good.stupid stories no new development
I used to obsessively search the news and books, looking for ‘the cure’
don’t think it will be in my lifetime. My doc will tell me about meds if I ask for something new or I’m having problems.
I don’t like all those commercials on TV advertising expensive new meds. If they really are the best, I"ll let others be the guinea pigs first. I probably couldn’t afford them anyway, so its just depressing actually.

Yeah I’m hoping to find a cure too. So far nothing substantial so far but I did find out about Invega Trinza because of the alerts so if nothing else it keeps me up to date with the latest anti-psychotic news.
