Well it looks like the drug is limited by its affinity for muscarinic receptors, and also bound to have side effects. It’s basically rolling off of the nicotine thing, how drugs with affinity for nicotine receptors help us, especially in cognitive symptoms.

It looks like a solid adjunct in a moderate dose for people with stronger negative symptoms with an antipsychotic like risperdal, something basic but not that out there like abilify. Maybe clozapine too. Drugs internationally recognized.

It does look like it Fuggs with the autonomic nervous system, in good ways and bad- hence side effects deemed “cholinergic”- swearing, drooling, gastrointestinal problems- because it not only hits M1 which is great for schizophrenia (increases M1) but also M2 and M3. Increasing M1 is like having the benefits of nicotine without the bad side effects of nicotine, from what I understand. Hell I smoke a cig whenever I wake up to clear and sharpen my mind. Just took a nap and smoked one.

I’m no neuroscientist like one of my good friends and some great students and professors I have met, but I can say that it looks like if you have low positive and high negative and cognitive symptoms, this drug looks promising.

Which means “in your face neurostimulant.” Pretty obvious why it would be experienced by some with negative symptom sz as “helpful,” by the sfx would smack one in the face pretty quickly. If they could formulate it with GI buffers at a very low dose, it might be helpful for a few people with appropriate genetic set-ups.
