Do your hallucinations and delusions ever completely go away even on medicine

Depending on the medication I’m on sometimes the hallucinations will go away but delusions will not. Other times hallucinations will just not be as bad.

They haven’t gone away 100%, but they happen infrequently and are typically very mild and brief when they do. That’s fine with me.

On my meds my delusions really don’t go away the last week of my shot but hallucinations are gone.

I have something which could be considered delusions since almost 5 years. These phenomena did not vanish due to medications at all. My hallucinations were only sporadical and very short, most of them were auditory (simple sounds).

I still feel like God talks to me on occasion, even while on meds. I occasionally hear mumbling voices and music in the electronics of my home. I’m also suspicious of the true feelings and motives of some of those closest to me, but, nothing else.

I have “suspiciousness” about alien people. I have “fear” that they want to poison or kill me. I have it since I was about 16 years old. I have no depression despite lack of friends and even wife (but wifelessness can be mentally unpleasant). I had “delusions” that women do not defecate, flatulate, maybe I still have something like them, but since about two days they might vanish or at least are smaller. Now I get olanzapine and sulpiride in rather low doses, I have diagnosis of schizotypal disorder instead of schizophrenia (and also diagnosis of Asperger’s and OCD).

The delusions, paranoia, and dissociation all go away but the voices remain. I can tune them out and keep them off with some concentration. There’s visual hallucinations too that usually accompany the voices but they can also be tuned out most of the time. It depends on my stress level.

I only have delusions when I’m off meds. My voices never really go completely away but are way more benign when I’m on meds. When I’m off meds they tell me to kill myself and other people and it’s really scary.
