Do you think suffering becomes easier

I believe pain is certain, suffering is optional. It’s all depends on your state of mind.

I’ve suffered a lot in life. I don’t think it gets easier. I think it compounds and becomes more and more difficult to handle.

Really? It doesn’t affect my positive symptoms at all. I take Geodon to control suicidal ideation.

I think it becomes easier to a certain threshold. There comes a point when suffering is at a critical level and it’s best to cut the cause off if possible.

Having said that I think it’s pretty complicated.

But one things for sure, cutting off the cause where appropriate and possible alleviates the suffering.

There’s a saying, don’t waste your time arguing with stupid people

I think it also depends on the circumstances of the suffering, whether it’s avoidable or unavoidable.

Other than lifestyle changes and increasing numbers and doses of medications to slow the progression, there’s nothing Chris and I can do to alleviate what’s going on with his kidneys at all, so it’s a constant stress that wears us both down.

If it was avoidable like changing apartments or something, we would do that.

Like, the immense stress of Chris’s last job was eating him alive, so I helped him change it.

Now that part is solved and that suffering has ended.

But part of what wears us down so much with the kidney disease is that his body betrays him a little more every day, no matter what he does.

What happened that you would say that?

Oh just some private situations. Nothing to do with you. In case you’re wondering.
