Do you talk to the people who live near you?

I moved into my apartment about 4 months ago and haven’t talked to a single person except the manager of the apartment complex. The manager said it was a close knit community where people looked after one another. I’m thinking maybe that might not be true.

I don’t talk to any of my neighbors, i see them sometimes and smile but that’s about it. i don’t know what i’d talk to them about really

I live in a retirement area st Anne’s
In my block I have five other neighbors we don’t talk except polite
The 95 year old lady downstairs has now got dementia she used to talk to me like I was a child

No, I don’t talk to my neighbours. I just say them hello or one or two nice phrases, that’s all :slight_smile: . They all know that I am ill, ouch.

I’m close with my neighbor,

I like to be friendly with at least one person near me because I have animals.

If they ever get out or something happens at my house, I know at least one person can help me out.

Apartment complexes are a little different,

When I lived in an apartment I really didn’t get to know anyone.
