last time I was in the neighborhood, I didn’t talk to the neighbors very often…in fact I yelled at both of em…one was on the property and I was in a bad mood…and the other was having a bad day and decided to get smart with me…sounds bad but it was really the lack of quality sleep that was getting to me…anyways
the new place is much more peaceful…we still have neighbors but their generally uninterested in us…and we no longer have foot traffic passing the house so the new culture isn’t as centered on chit chat like the old neighborhood.
I’m friends with several of my neighbors. We go visiting at their apartments or they come here. In fact I usually have visitors everyday. I like it. It’s a good feeling to know you’re not alone where you live. My husbands best friend lives here, they’ve known each other over 20 years. Another good friend is just now moving out. Another neighbor is taking me and my daughter out of town for my daughter’s OB appointment on Monday. I can’t believe haow generous that is. Yes my neighbors are a blessing and we strive to be a blessing for them too.
I say hi or wave to a few of my neighbors once in a while, but that’s about it. I sometimes have to catch one of my neighbors dogs who gets away once in a while though. Also, when my dog and I walk we stop for a minute on occasion to see that same dog when it’s out in its yard. I used to have a really friendly neighbor that I would visit with once in a while.
I wave to my neighbors all the time but have rarely talked to them. But then I also wave to almost every car that passes by when I’m out for a walk or run.
I say hi or do small talk with a couple of them. If they say hello or wave, I respond. That’s about it though. Never said much to my neighbors before I got sick.
I know both neighbors who live on other side of me.
They are friendly people who basically mind their own business.
I wave hi to them once in a while, and I’ve talked to them in the past.
