I heard most schizophrenics do smoke cigarettes
I vape I use to smoke cigarettes but I quit.
I used to smoke cigs for years. Quit about 8 years ago.
I’m 50 I smoked cigarettes when I first became I’ll in my room age17 then I stopped then smoked socially at age 19 then quit
Smoke like a turk
I’ve never smoked. I vaped for maybe a month, when I was 21. Quickly threw out the vape pen, though.
Yes but i’m trying to stop
Hell no. I quit both cigs and vaping. I always smelled like cigarettes in high school because my dad smoked. Surgeon pulled part of my dad’s lungs out and he had to use a walker. But he still smoked after surgery. I hated that.
To go from walking just fine. Ok I’m upset hope I don’t come across as bitchy. Rox
I smoked cigs from 2012-2016, right before my first psychotic break ironically. Then I moved in with my folks and quit, thankfully
Not for over 30 years. Quit before I was formally diagnosed.
I smoke. I’ve smoked for about 14 years.
I used to smoke very heavily, but it started effecting my breathing and was a huge money sink so I gave up fairly young (17-21)
Never have. Never will. Cigarettes are soooo bad for you that I never started. And they’re expensive. I don’t have enough money to be a smoker.
Smoking for six years, have cut down to 10 a day. Aiming to quit by the end of februrary or march.
I have 3 and a half years collectively smoking throughout my life. I tried vaping but still craved cigarettes lol.
I’ve been off cigarettes for about 8 days. Been vaping and using Zyn pouches.
I have never taken a puff of anything. I had a cousin push and push and push for me to try her flavored vape years ago, but I don’t like peer pressure. She was convinced it was harmless, but I just kept refusing. Well look at the studies now!
Never as a habit.
Used a sigaret and then a nicotine patch once. I disagreed with the dosage of antipsychotics I was forced to use, it was an overdose for me. I felt horrible on them. I read nicotine lowers the blood level and effect of haldol. So I tried. I don’t think that was my brightest idea ever. I got sick, dizzy and vomiting and all. And the nurses inquired wth I was doing in the smoking room as a non-smoker. They were quite amused by my plan, and the results. We had a good laugh, after I stopped being sick.
Oh and I tried smoking weed as a twenty-something. Didn’t succeed in smoking it well. Tried in other ways, but didn’t find the effect interesting at all.
I think it isnt necessarily worse or better than other legal and illegal drugs. But it didn’t catch my interest.
I used to be a 2 pack a day smoker decades ago.
I quit cold turkey and never looked back.
It’s possible to quit, it just takes willpower and patience
I am not promoting smoke but one in a day keeps me well or two…
I have a question is vape good or cigarette ? Between these two which is less harmful
