I LoL all thru the day but especially when alone in the dark… Just kidding I laugh when people are around , and I even laugh if I think something is funny when alone as well.

I discussed this a few years ago on this site.

I think we discovered that neurotypicals don’t laugh alone, not even when watching a comedy program on their own. Laughter is seen as a social cue and is used for bonding.

I was amazed to discover this and saw a documentary that showed people not laughing at a comedy show on their own. It must be so boring for them, only laughing for social approval where as szs can laugh for laughter’s sake.
