Do you hide food in your room?

I hide chips, sour cream and onions lol
My brothers would eat it if they see it so I hide it in my room.

I hide the good chocolate in my room so the kids won’t find it.

I hide my snack for the week. This week it’s gold fish. I hide it from the kids because they take it to their room, put their dirty hand in it and never reseal it so by the next day they’re stale. But I buy them their own snacks so it’s all good

No, but I’m tempted to start. My kid is a roving appetite and manages to find and consume all snacks. Cooking enough food for leftovers for the next day just means she eats that much more.

A larger problem is that most of our snacks are things like fresh fruit that need to be refrigerated after being prepped. They wouldn’t store well in my bedroom.

Buy a small fridge for your room lol

No room. She’s gone to uni in under three weeks so the problem is finally solving itself. Just waiting to see if the next wave of COVID shuts post secondary again. Honestly, they can probably keep going if they limit attendance to vaxxed only.

I used to hide food in my dorm room if my suite mates had people in the common area so I wouldn’t have to talk to anyone while they were over.

I only live with my husband (and pets), so I don’t need to hide food.

When I lived at my parents’ house, though, up until 20 years old, I did hide food in my bedroom. I even had a deadbolt lock on my bedroom door, cause my siblings kept stealing my clothes, food, money, and other personal items!

My father knows to keep away from my snacks.
Sometimes I’ll share the chips with him.

Haha no I’m paranoid about getting bugs so I typically only eat in the kitchen.

No. I used to bring food into my room, and forget that I had it in my room, as a teenager, though.
