I’ve got a question about life in general.
Who likes change? Do you struggle with change or embrace it?
I dislike it, but I have learned to accept it as needed.
It totally depends what the change is. Some things really irritate me. Like unnecessary software updates that change things up just to annoy you when everything was working fine before. I tend to be resistant to procedural changes like that that just make you have to get used to a new thing when everything was fine before.
Change can make me very anxious. It took my daughter over a decade to persuade me to move near her, as I went into catastrophising mode as to the logistics. It took an even more stressful situation staying where I was than moving, to persuade me to move(they planned to demolish the block of flats I was living in).
No, I only keep a couple quarters and a dime or two on me.
I have a problem with change, not so much my staff team changing all the time with people leaving and coming but more so with changes who leaves my group home and then who moves in. I hate this,
when you accept yourself who you are then you will change
you have to be whole, the ugly and the beautiful
I would say, it would depend on the type of change. I would like some things to change, right now for my situation and an overall improvement. Im not unhappy and I can accept life as it is–but i know what things are and when they are wrong and underserving. Its really hard to challenge norms and defeat conformity. So its a challenge I embrace, but it takes mental attention and a willingness to embrace potentials for outcomes in different scenerios, and this is what bothers me it can be frustrating to advocate and end up being the sole self advocate in a world of oppositional forces and foster dynamism—its a cold harsh system that represents crusty outdated ideals, but also some that should remain.
