Well, excuse me for the post, but I am pissed off… I never had a bad acne, but since my years of isolation and the illness, I pick my skin on the face with scissors even… I clean like this my pores, but sometimes it goes wrong and I can make a scar or something… Its a pity… I had nearly perfect skin 20 years ago and now I have many large pores and scars. Recently I made a new one, who is very deep and on a visible side 
… Should I worry or its not a big deal to have some scars and pores here and there? Can this be a turn off in finding a partner, what do you think?
Guys, is it so important for you the girl’s skin?
Ill be more careful in the future,but this picking sometimes relieves my negatives yeap…

I have scars on my eyebrows, a mole, and some other smaller moles. I’ve accepted them as a part of my features and don’t pick at them like I do my cuticles when they get dry.

The scars might be. You really can’t help it if you have big pores. I mean how big are the scars? Do you have a pic?
Are they really scars or just boo boos?
Ive had worse than that mate - wouldnt moan about a bit of acne. Try having half your left ear bitten off like me - than you might have an image complex lol

Its important somewhat for girls although I don’t care about it in girls, I have many scars on my face, try to use some fillers on your face like creams and powders every girl uses here in Iran to have a nice looking skin, everywhere and everyday, specially when they go out of home,

I don’t think scars are a turn off necessarily. But why you have them is. Most people would be nervous about entering a relationship with someone who cuts their own face with scissors. It tells them you’re currently unstable. Most people don’t do that and it’s a red flag. Try really hard to break this habit. Ask the dr for help.

If you really need to pick your spots try doing it with something not sharp…
Maybe squeeze with your fingers instead without nails getting in the way. It’s OK to have scars but maybe if u don’t like it try other methods of picking spots if you have to pick them
I got scars on my nose too from picking… If I can choose I’d rather not have them but since I have them I’m learning to be OK with it
I dated a guy with a cleft pallet once. His face was deformed too. But he was a really good hearted guy. He wouldn’t kiss me though.
I have age spots that developed in the last 5 years. I’m not even slightly concerned about them. I think a man who is so shallow as to be bothered isn’t really worth anyone’s time.

I’m really blessed. I’ve picked at my skin all my life and I have no scars.
