Do you have a place where you feel most comfortable?

the dojo aka my basement is where I feel most comfortable/safest. I try not to spend too much time down here, though, cause the lighting is awful lol

How about you? Where’s your chill spot?

Pictures of chill spot are also encouraged!

If I’m living in an appartment or house, usually I only can recharge energy in my room…

I live in a small house. I have 4 choices: living room, bedroom, kitchen, or backyard. I spent most of my time in the living room.

That said I do prepare all our meals everyday in the kitchen. But my chill place is the living room

At home in my apartment is where I’m most comfortable. But my moms, sisters, or day treatment are places outside my home where I’m also semi comfortable.

I feel best in nature by water. I also like cuddling a cat in my easy chair at home.

In the woods and nature. The ticks are bad this year though, and I don’t like using bug spray.

At home I like hanging out in my room with my tortoise and other reptiles.

Where I am free and feel like my own true self in my own body .

Also best be environment n nature n realestate land and air n space n everything of choosing .:slightly_smiling_face:

That’s not been many moments with this body of mine .

My x home in sa is only place in a way this body lived in that felt like home .even there wasn’t always that in my actual bod.specially not when his friends who most of them may of hated me :joy:n disrespected me ….

I had a moment of feeling like myself for a whole hour in a pool where my partner and I stayed at a cabin for my birthday this year .
I could breathe properly which usually I can’t and I was playful and happy and loving and felt free .
Lasted about a hour or so .

Then I’ve had other little short moments of being and feeling like myself in my own body here.

I just want to be myself and feel like myself and have own eyes and nature and golden moments and light years and colours and aura and space and air and all I am …..

Also where I am protected and safe and “my trespassers “ and abusers and ones I want nothing to do with can’t access me in any way shape of form .:joy:

My partner is my homi as such but I want him to feel like himself and be true self and all he is as I my full self n we both thrive together lovingly happily freely and even have true friends n family of our choice .

My spot at the table in living room with my journal and coffee.
The armchair next to my bird’s cage with coffee and a book.
Sitting in the sun in my back yard, looking at the sky and mountain and birds in flight.
Relaxing in my bed, hubby next to me or reading a book.

Physically, I feel most comfortable in my place (it’s just the one room excluding kitchen and bathroom). But otherwise, I like being on the forum, I feel (usually) loved and taken care of on here - it feels like a real place to me to a certain degree. Unlike facebook and social media

I have a place on one end of my couch, in my living room, in my apartment, next to an end table, where I sit most of the time. It is aka “my spot”. Here, I am usually comfy and at peace.

Over the last 13 years I have maybe felt physically comfortable 5 times. That being said I have a big brown chair I like to chill out in.

Between anxiety and paranoia I travel out less even though I thought that was not possible to do any more
