I want to help people but sometimes I don’t understand what people are saying. I guess I could ask them to elaborate.

I think its just the nature of the beast on a schizophrenia forum…
Sometimes asking to elaborate helps, sometimes you just get further useless information,
Just depends.
I think it matters more that you post,
It doesn’t really matter what you say, people just want to be heard.

So much this. Ask for more information. Say you’re sorry you don’t understand but hope they’re okay. Anything. Just don’t be a dick and you’ll say the right thing.

Yeah. I just read one I couldn’t understand I’ve seen quite a few of them. I don’t know if their disorganized or not good English speakers.

On this forum, I used to get called “cryptic” and didn’t know what that meant. I found out and made more effort to be easier to understand and give more details to what I’m trying to say. It worked Either that or the mood of the forum has changed.

Yes it happened to me several times too… Pansdisease and Way12go come to mind. They often post confusing stuff. Also Azley’s turns of phrase can get pretty convoluted.
