I do from time to time…just to make sure I’m still a nobody. And that’s exactly how I want to be.
I’d use a fake name if I were to ever become a person of note.

Shows me getting arrested for a psychotic episode…we’re trying to get it removed but it has a felony so might be expensive.
I’ve just googled my name for the first time in years, after reading this thread 
It shows my FB, Linkedin, and Google+ profiles. Nothing special.
This thread has entertained me thinking about fake names id use if i were famous

I googled my name, then changed the privacy on facebook to not appear on google search, changed my google account name and all. Don’t want to be found by anyone, call it paranoia, it is…

My facebook comes up. I’ll have to take it off google.
Also my etsy account, my brother’s wedding page for which I’m to be a bridesmaid, and also a census page, that says in the US there are 8 people with the same first and last name. That’s a little scary… I wonder how many people here in Canada have the same name as me.
search your usernames as well - and whatever you find, remember the cached page is visible for 30 days even if you change it. @Minnii @Bunny
