I have never heard of anyone eating the peel.
I would be afraid to choke on the peel, plus it would not taste very good.
Are you kidding me!??
Without the peel!
No one eats the peel!
Actually I was reading on google about people eating the peel too
I’ll try it with peel washed and then put it in a blender
What kind of question is that, with peels ofcourse like any other fruit, oranges, watermelons, etc.
I don’t actually eat the peel, but I wanted to vote for it. It sounds gross
I stand with the peel.
Peel 2020.
“Dopamine is also synthesized in the process of banana riping/fermentation. Back in elementary school, I had a friend who was often high in the morning. I never really understand why until now… He told me once that he eats whole bananas, i.e. including the peel and skin, for breakfast! So, next time if you need a happy booster, just blend a “whole” ripe banana smoothie!”
This thread made me crave bananas. I just made plain oatmeal with mashed banana in it without the peel.
Magnesium helps you sleep
Eating the peel is… different. I’ve tasted the peel before and it’s pretty bitter.
I don’t eat the whole peel but I scrape off the inside of the peel with my teeth wen I cn b bothered.
Do you mean scraping insides of the peel? You can probably can get away with that. Otherwise I think it’s absolutely unhygienic to eat outside of the peel. I’d probably look for some other source of those minerals
Yea u know the bit with the stringy bits of banana. Its quite nice actually.
I didn’t realise people eat the whole peel
Stingy, it’s a good word. We westerners probably missing out on “good stuff”
Great video, blending probably makes you forget what you are eating
