Do you believe sz is cause by a chemical imbalance?

Thanks for the info, @twinklestars! I really appreciate it.

I completely believe that circumstances caused my schizophrenia. When I was a kid I was completely normal. I had no sz no social phobia, no depression, nothing. Then calamity struck, I’m trying to make this short. I had a lot of trauma (depression and social phobia) “caused by bullying” when I was 15. And all that made me chemically imbalanced. I believe people can be born with it also. I think the experts get confused with sz caused by circumstances because the can’t figure out what chemically imbalance is like with sz. due to circumstances. For example the experts know what causes depression because they know your serotonin levels get low. but with sz it’s more than just low serotonin it’s also doplamine at the same time. therefor they don’t figure how circumstance effect doplimine and all the chemicals that aren’t at the right level. Maybe low serotonin makes your doplamine low also? They can’t figure out how every chemical in our brain like changes or effects each other due to circumstances. How many chemicals in our brain has to be imbalanced to cause sz… I know depression can occur without circumstance. I also know depression can be cause BY circumstances.

O yes chemical imbalance.

I wanted to understand it and cure it.

I started work 19 at a medical school and my plan was working just two years after I had my first break.

But then it happened again and again. ButI became an analytic chemist because I could never pass biochemistry with sz anyway.

Then I wanted to cure cancer but that didn’t happen either so now I’m retired and I tried but it’s over.
