I use Telegram, it’s like encrypted chat. I prefer it over other online chat services.
I watch fringe conservative stuff, and they are getting really targeted by the mainstream and shut down all the time but they can’t get to the Telegram groups.

I like it for the uncessary stuff, I find the whole interface more customisable and the animated stickers just adorable. You can have groups on Telegram as well however not a lot of people use Telegram so maybe Whatsapp is a better choice for that. But another feature my partner hates and I like is,. I can go in and delete every single message from the chat even on his phone…

Actually I just saw an article today it has 500,000 users now… it is getting more popular especially as facebook does not own it and during this lock down.

What makes it better? Can you video call with it?
I only use it for mobile apps development and rappers groups.
My friends mostly use Whatsapp and Messenger.

Ah now that’s where its probably not useful, only for audio calls. But I don’t like video calls much so it works for me.
Yah, we use it to keep in touch with extended family.
