As someone who likes men, let me say this: well-groomed beards are hella nice.
Unkempt ones are not.
beards are natural and im too lazy to shave. i do trim up my neck every once in awhile, but i donât care to attract a mate, i shave it off about once every 3 months and then let it grow back out.
Darn right it is so hard to keep a beard off as Iâm believable how many times you have to shave your face during a given year most of us Englishmen theyâve identified as from the Amish but all of our younger ones are doing it for decoration
My husband keeps a neat beard.

Iâm really not sure how I feel about it, but itâs his body, so whateves.
If I were you, @GoldenRex , I would be happy that my husband kept a trimmed beard. A lot of men, especially straight men, (in my experience this is what I notice), (And no, Iâm not calling your hubby gay), think they have to grow their beards out into long, grizzly bush bombs for some reason. Why do so many men think women find that attractive? They are all deluded.
(Obligatory not a female): I have never gone more than 7 days without a shave, and that was because of my job which had me away from civilization at long stretches. I canât bloody stand having facial hair. Every damn morning, sz or no sz, I shave. Have to. I donât find beards to be all that wonderful.
I keep a trimmed goatee.

My grandma seems to think beards are in fashion so the young men can âdisplay their sympathy for the mohamedaniansâ 
I thoroughly dislike having facial hair. If I could get rid of it completely I would.
Some women like facial hair, some donât. I donât like shaving so I grow a beard, I have a beard trimmer from Amazon, I think neckbeards are gross, if you canât grow a full beard donât grow one at all, or do a goatee or something, but thatâs just me.
I have no sympathy for anyone, thatâs kind of my trademark.
My husband has a well kempt beard. I like it on him. It suits his face.
My son was a very good looking (everyone said so), young man who kept a well trimmed mustache and modern goatee. And he kept a buzz cut popular back in the millennium.
