@far_cry0 keeping pets can be expensive, especially with food and vets bills.
I think getting anything too big would be irresponsible in a small flat! Your landlord might also not allow them due to damage they can cause and odour, as it can put off future perspective Tennants…
I’d start small and not blow the money that your sister sent you straight away, as this might give her a incentive to send more in the future?
But what do I know?

We have two dogs and a cat. I don’t think I’m going to have any pets when i get my own place. Too much money and I don’t want to clean up feces and urine all the time without anyone to help me do it.
