Do some posts go through moderators

I posted something with a possibly flagged word in the title. I’m not sure if it’s visible to everyone yet. Do some posts go through moderators before going live? Especially ones with potentially flagged words? How does that work?

There is a backdoor to do that.

Ps. The word I thought was flagged was suicidal.

I was taught to use complex password (min 8 chars) like this (also involving the use of dollar sign as replacement for “S”)

Clever. My passwords are probably a little too easy. But I was also taught (by my technologically challenge parents) to use passwords like password1 or password123 haha. I’ve moved very far away from that though😂

Nothing goes through us for approval before posting.

Edit: Apparently this is inaccurate information. Just after posting this I discovered I had two red flags in my Notifications area and when I clicked on it, it went to NEEDS APPROVAL. Turns out they were posts flagged by the system as likely spam (and they were). First time I’ve seen that! I’ve yet to see anything flagged because of the ‘s’ word. Hope this helps?

I apparently need to learn more about it. The software also doesn’t play nicely with my Android phones or tablets.

Oh no! Software malfunctions are no good! Hopefully as you learn about the site as a moderator, you’ll pick up bits about how to get it working better on your android devices.
