Do any of you live in a third world country?

Am i barking up the wrong tree, or isnt there a massive anti-biotic business going on in india - where some people now are getting treatment resistant? Cos they are being used when not really needed?

Nice to finally see your face lol

What you are saying is true, as most of the people try to self-medicate and get medicines over the counter for the illness fearing expenses with doctor might incur. Which does not serve the purpose or value of medicines. It rather causes more issues.

I am from a developing country and we are lucky to have Invega available to us in the public health system. It is an expensive drug.

There is a schizophrenic man on YouTube with a channel called mindaid.

His business is to help schizophrenic people in developing countries get medication and proper help.

Lovely channel that I’m subscribed to.

Excessive reliance on medication for those who are willing and can afford treatment. Not as many mental health professionals to begin with as are necessary to help people.

As @Melomaniac said people shun discussing serious conditions like bipolar and schizophrenia. Some think depression and anxiety can be fought off with willpower.

Most meds are available. Issue is whether one can afford it.

I don’t live in a developing country, but I didn’t have access to healthcare for many years.
