Dizzy spell

Dizzy spell when getting up out of bed. Could hardly stand up straight to get to the lounge.15-20 minutes later still feel a little off. Have had postural hypotension before but nothing like this.

I would mention that on my next doctor’s visit. I hope it is nothing serious.

i had that a couple of days ago from too much junk food and cake… i guess u could take meds for it… they gave me these small pink tablets to get rid of vertigo…

Have you had a chance to get this checked out yet?

No. To tell you the truth I’m wary about going to the GP. Have only seen the GP once in the last 10 years and that was after being persuaded by the rehab and recovery team. Given that at the time I had not been for nearly 8 years the GP could hardly be bothered to see me.
It’s tricky because (a) physical things are often put down to your illness (2) It’s hard to know not being medically trained when something is worth going to the doctor’s or not .If you get it wrong and go for what they consider a non problem they can be funny with you.
I had that when I went for what I thought was a small lump on my testicle. The look on the GPs face after examining me was one of pure disdain, as if to say “How could you come to me with this?”
Luckily it has not happened again. If it does I’ll probably sound things out at the depot clinic first.

I have seen that look the doctors give you. Is like because of your diagnosis all your complaints are in your head.

fully understand - doctors can be pricks most of the time… They forget we pay their bills.
