I don’t know if I have schizophrenia, bipolar, depression etc. The symptoms which appear first is social anxiety (from the age i remember) which I still have, adhd i was very restless jumping from one activity to another till my teen years. Then i become more like adhd inattentive with less movements. During my late teen years I started to get extreme ocd though i had this ocd behavior before. The first cognitive symptom i noticed is reducing working memory which i still have in the worst form. It appear like brain fog unable to think of something without leaving current thought activity thus very impulsive which is the reason for my ocd i think. After teen years started to get blunted affect, flat affect wih hardly any emotions which resulted in many of the negative symptoms. i have not experienced any positive symptoms yet though i have the negative symptoms for over 16 years now.
No, I didn’t have symptoms before I got diagnosed.
I did but miss attributed them to normal teenage confusion and growing pains. I thought it was natural do to “those wacky teenagers” it wasn’t.
I had none of the positive symptoms before I was diagnosed. I just ended up in a bad situation that I’m still trying to work my way out of.
