Did anyone else feel disconnected from reality when psychotic?

yeas sir this is actually the definition of psychosis,break from reality…

i had a psychotic nightmare last night. was really scary so relieved when i opened my eyes and it disappeared

Did it kind of feel like you were in a box where you could see reality and watch people living in it, but you were trapped in a box in an alternate reality and it was like a nightmare you couldn’t get out of?

yea i felt really disconnected from reality for sure… well i did when i started to get a bit better… when i was totally in it i didn’t realize it so much.

I never felt disconnected from reality. I always new who I was, where I was, when I was, what was going on, but on top of all that I had hallucinations and delusions.
