I’ve done nothing all day except sit at my computer, and been texting a little with a friend. Well, I took my pooch for a quick walk, and took out some trash, but that’s it. I’m feeling so lazy I may just wash some socks and underwear in the tub and use Febreze on some shirts so I don’t have to go do my laundry today. I mean, I could wash shirts in the tub, too, but they would come out all wrinkled, and I hate ironing about as much as I hate going to the laundromat. I’m just depressed, lonely, and tired.

When I feel like this I just go to bakery to get a fresh bake pie or two. Plum is my favorite.

why do you have to do laundry in the tub?
I don’t have a washer and dryer here.
Not even in the building? 
We have a laundry room, but half the machines don’t work, and I don’t trust people enough to leave my laundry unattended.
There are some out of control people outside my building right now. Yelling and screaming at each other, probably a fist fight going on. I just hope no guns or knives get pulled.
Because my clothes do not get dirty much - I always use the least time consuming option such as quick wash delicate which is 20 minutes then 20 minutes in the dryer. Sorry you have to do your laundry in the tub, you are making your life more difficult. If the washing machine takes a big load - you can do your laundry bi-weekly and then just wait the 20 minutes out? Maybe read a book or play on your mobile?
As it is, it’s been two weeks since I did laundry. I prefer to get it done at a laundromat, rather than hang out in the laundry room. It’s just a pain, though.

Yeah, it’s quieted down out there now. It was going on for a few minutes, but no gunshots fired, so at least there’s that.

I did two hours at charity shop this morning there were lots other volunteers there
Then came home and had dinner and watched catch up

That’s good that you got out and did something today, something productive.
Well, I set up my online account for making my car payments, made my September payment, so that’s one more thing crossed off my to-do list. I also filled the kitchen sink with dirty dishes and super hot soapy water, going to let them soak while the water cools off a bit. So I’m working on things gradually. That first thing didn’t require me to get off my arse, though.
