Depakote is working and only been on it a week. Anyone else take 250mg of Depakote twice daily? And how long before side effects if any occur? Or would they have occurred by now everyone is different in that aspect but just curious so I can watch for any new side effects may not have any at all which is a plus in my book.

I take dépakote but when i want to stop it i experience psychosis, on me depakote has no effects negatives or positives, i must take depakote because i had problems with police in thé past and i must to take dépakote now.
In one year i will be free with justice and i ll to withdrawal it slowly…
DĂ©pakote cause me a slow weight gain of 3 or 4 kilograms.

I’ve been on Depakote for decades, it’s been a lifesaver for me.
You are on a beginner’s dose of Depakote, usually Depakote starts to become fully effective at 1000mg daily.
This is my current dose, 1000mg
Side effects like weight gain and sedation increase at doses over 1000mg

Exactly AT 1000mg not weight gain and more hungry on me but over 1000 dépakote has Bad effects on hungry and weight gain

I take 500 altogether a day very small dose of the Depakote so far no side effects at all I hope it stays that way
