Delta 9 is considerably more potent than Delta 8. Some believe it to be about twice as strong overall. Side effects are also more considerable with Delta 9. These can include paranoid delusions, mental fog, impaired motor skills, and increased feelings of anxiety.

LOL even the trace amounts of thc in CBD can cause me to go off the rails. If you have schizophrenia it is best to just stay away from all forms of thc. It makes life hell

I was thinking about getting a Delta 9 flower joint from the CBD shop until I read it causes paranoid delusions. F that.
I took some bad CBD that had a decent amount of THC in it back a couple months ago and I’m still recovering. If you’re gonna do CBD, I’d recommend avoiding the kind that has even trace amounts of thc. Be careful.

I smoke a lot of CBD hemp flower, but I never touch Delta 8 or Delta 9. Stuff is a ticking timebomb for those of us with schizophrenia.

What does that feel like?
Well, it does wonders for my anxiety and mood. Like, if I smoke mid-morning, then the rest of the day I feel good (not high, just anxiety-free). But it also helps with minor aches and pains, sleep, and just provides an overall feeling of bliss. It’s nice.

If you live in the US, it’s completely legal and there are a ton of sites with top shelf flower you can buy. I started out just buying a small amount (I think I bought one pre-rolled joint). And I found it worked for me.
It’s a great addition to my medicine regimen, but I asked my pdoc first before really diving into it. He’s cool with it. My advice is to run it by your pdoc first.
