Who’s Daniel Amen? Don’t know him.
He’s a controversial celebrity pdoc that uses scans of the brain to decide on treatment. The experimental treatments use EDMR, supplements, and charges out the rear for the scans.
Basically a quack.

I caught him giving a talk on TED. It looks like a scam. What IS the treatment? He is angry at psychiatrists for acting without looking!

He charges over $3,000 for one of the brain scans he does. Not everything he says is bad though.
My dad buys into him and wants me to be seen by him. I haven’t though.
