anyone ever had these? i cry because i get a random sad thought in my head but its a short cry like half a second and then it goes away and im even laughing about it. gelastic seizures or bulbar palsy i heard it could be but since i have schizophrenia i wondered if its related. i doubt its bipolar because im crying out of joy usually not sadness

You pointed out joy, a physical illness can not cause joy, I think when you talk of joy you mean seeing sth beautiful mentally not sth like orgasm.
whats sth mean? yeah its sadness and joy but usually joy, intrusive thoughts cause it i guess.

Frankly crying with sadness beats the hell out of being depressed. Crying is very cathartic especially if you do know why you are crying. Not sure I’d worry too much on it unless it non stop.

I cry too now and then - without any particular reason. Just a mood swing and it’s like - 10 minutes of depressed tears and then I distract myself.
I think normies get this too sometimes. As a person with sz we are engineered to question such episodes a bit more than usual.

Your not the only one, I’m currently laying on top of my bed having done this too.
I’m just glad that it’s normal and not just me!
Are you getting enough sleep? I cry easily if I haven’t had enough sleep.
Don’t jump the gun and think it’s cancer without having spoken to you psychiatrist or a doctor first. That will just make you cry more.
