Yeah the meds play a big part.
Most of the time they lead to weight gain and sometimes diabetes.

This is why getting on a low carb diet can be helpful

Stress dude… It’s also not a surprise a disease which involves social isolation and thus likely physical inactivity is bad for the cardiovascular system.

Didnt read the full article, but with my own experiences, this surprises me nothing. Meds + chronic stress/trauma => cardiovascular disease.

Also not surprising. It took me a year before they would diagnose my recurrant thrombosis, and weeks of rushing to the ER with breathing/heart problems before they diagnosed a pulmonary embolism. I was having “panic attacks” according to the docs or was “emotionally unstable” (no, you idiot, I am terrified, because I have obvious life-threatening problems that you refuse to diagnose and treat…).
