Coping with boredom

I’ve been waiting for a med to fix my negative symptoms since 1994. I’ve tried most of them and I’m still waiting for one to help out. Supplements have only been midly helpful. I’ve had to do the heavy lifting on my own there.

I’ll never sort out positive symptoms from the negative. I let myself be if I do things each day. Yesterday I practiced guitar and mandolin 25 minutes, went to the store and cleaned the kitchen. That was enough for me. I relaxed the rest of the time listening to our npr station.

Have you tried all 17+ atypical aps? The best thing I’ve taken to combat my negative symptoms is a supplement called liposomal glutathione, it is the only thing I’ve taken that has had any positive effect on my negative symptoms but it has been rather powerful. I will also be trying sarcosine as of tomorrow.

I hope you don’t get robbed of gaming for a hobby like I did

To be honest, right now my coping mechanism is to sleep

Not the best, but I am not working at the moment, and have a lot of time on my hands

I am on Latuda as well. It seems to work well, but I still get some pretty severe days where the symptoms are breaking through

No. Also can’t remember some of them because I was in rough shape when put on them. My doctor is weaning me off APs starting next week. I have Vraylar and Haldol as fallbacks if it doesn’t work out well.
