Comic book fans?

I bought comics back in the early eighties and continued to buy the savage sword of Conan long after. I can’t read them anymore, I just don’t understand them, they are for people who think on a lower level. Sorry to say.

Matt Groening had a newspaper comic strip in about five hundred small newspapers across the country called LIFE IN HELL and it was very cool. He went on to co create THE SIMPSONS. I would like to do a comic strip but I don’t think there are many newspapers in existence and a gag every day sounds like a tall order.

I read graphic novels now I get from the library.

I loved marvel comics and wish I hadn’t given them up for adult novels. There’s no turning back.

I never got too interested in super hero movies. I’m glad Stan Lee got his reward for co creating so many characters. I bet he worked hard!

I read a lot of Donald Duck comics as a kid (is that popular in America too?).

Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge we’re the “dumb” comics but I loved them.

I remember my Belgian neighbors has Tintin comics. They were in America for a decade or so to work in a factory making machine guns.

in 74 or so I used to read and collect Swamp Thing…had many of them probably worth a lot of money now…that and creepy magazine…

The art style of Tin Tin is cool and old-school in a good way. Plus, Snowy is pretty cool too :sweat_smile: :+1:.

Not true. I have no idea why you’d think that. There’s comics and manga for all types of people. No need to insult.

I love comics. With the invention of digital drawing and painting many modern comics and graphic novels have beautiful artwork along with cool story lines.
