Cold brew coffee

Has anyone made coffee concentrate, to easily mix for a quick cup of coffee?

I bought a container of starbucks cold brew concentrate and wondering if I can make my own.

I tried cold brew, but never made it myself. I use drip coffee or instant when laziness is heavy on my shoulders, lol.

How do you make it? Do you just add double the bean? Do you add anything else?

Measure concentrate equal to water over ice. I add 2tb of white chocolate mocha creamer, 1 pump of sugar free caramel syrup and toasted marshmallow whipped topping. Caramel sauce drizzled on top. I make a lot of different kinds though.

Sounds like a good recipe! Thanks!

I just add a tiny bit of boiling water to the instant coffee and use mostly cold milk if i want a cold coffee. But its late autumn here now so been having hot coffees.

I’m interested in trying this too. I like iced coffee so I think I’ll like this. Thanks for posting! @anon14580204

Thanks @shutterbug for the info/website link too!! Yum!!

Gotta love my daily afternoon coffee! One of my favorite things!

Retail coffee drinks are a massive hose job. So much better and cheaper to learn to make your own.

Eh. I do brew my own iced coffee but when Starbucks cold brew goes on sale I always get one because I think it’s better than what I brew.

yep i do. i use a package of cafe bustelo 10oz block to 12 cups of water. you can use any coffee u want around 10-12 oz. i soak the grounds in the 12c water for 24 hrs then use coffee filters to strain it all out (this is the annoying part). it takes a lot of filters. they clog easy. i use a siv thingy and put the coffee filters in that to make it easier. but its worth it. you could also strain with cheesecloth, that might be easier. i end up with very strong cold brew that tastes really good and can be mixed with water because it is really strong. its really good.

This is great instruction, thanks for taking the time! I like the idea or steel mesh to filter the big stuff.
