Anyone ever thought about coding as a hobby?
I have friends who do it - sharpens the mind. Probably good for you so long as you’re getting some exercise in.
I would like to learn. I wish i could do it professionally

I code games as a hobby, haven’t done it in a while though. It’s very satisfying when you see the results of the code you wrote.
I like to do some powershell and SQL stuff. But I am just a beginner. I like to learn it well and good. From office they gave a free login to pluralsight which has loads of skills to learn. Need to get on it and master some.
I think one thing people can get hung up on with “coding” is syntax. Once you learn basic concepts of like variables, control flow and stuff then you can just look up the syntax in whatever language your trying to work with. Of course its slower if you havent memorized syntax but still workable.
I’m a codeacademy.com member.
Good website with interactive functionality, but unfortunately expensive…
I procrastinate a lot…
If you want to feel like a hacker just install linux and then use the command line to install and update 1000 programs
I’m thinking about taking a class on it I think it could be useful looking for work
