Clueless people have no idea they're clueless, and never will?

Naive, clueless, or paranoid people will never experience epiphany. Sure they can change their surroundings, or the thoughts they think. But they will live by a rule they built, because we all live by our own rules… and in our mind, we think we know what is right. Ex. If i’m paranoid, someone can’t tell me i’m not paranoid… and I would never admit i’m stupid for being paranoid. another Ex. if i’m paranoid, someone cant tell me i’m just being paranoid… and I will never admit to them being right, because I have built a rule based on my perception of my paranoia.

Clueful folks need to feel lucky and thankful.

As one with less clue i can say you don’t have any control of your brain but are subject to it in everyway.

I want some clue very badly but i can’t get no clue. Having some clue looks absolutely wonderful but some don’t get no clue.

Yes, I am clueless.

You reminded me of something…

You run into this a LOT when you are an I.T. working supporting non-nerds.

I like to believe everyone is capable of moments of clarity and even profound insight. Experience changes people. It is unfortunate, but sometimes those experience have to be extreme to produce a change. Furthermore, sometimes those perception altering experiences are externally driven. I had to be put in a hospital and on medication for a while before I realized I was sick. But even though I received it due to what others did, that moment of clarity was my own.

I think common discourse leads to more moments of insight than we believe. Think of anybody you hate or think as clueless. Then have a long, deep conversation with them. You will most likely no longer hate them. You will begin to see them as a person and not as their weakest or most ignorant moments.

I always thought of it as being very similar to the mind being trapped in a dream state. When you’re in a dream, you’re not going to know you’re dreaming. Even if people told you you were dreaming you wouldn’t believe them or understand.

However, there is lucid dreaming, which is where you’re aware you’re in a dream and the things you’re experiencing aren’t real (I’m a lucid dreamer). I’d like to think that if we could discover the key to lucid dreaming, we could make a connection in creating lucidity in these types of people.
