Hi, I’m new here. I have been reading your posts for a month or so. Feels a little bit unreal postning here, but in a good way.
So, here’s my problem: my period has changed over the last couple of months. It only lasts for a day or so and I bleed very little. My doctor says that clozapine isnt supposed to affect the period but she has been wrong about other things in the past.
Does anyone know anything about this?
i dont know about your case but i know that clozapine takes me high sexually and affects my sex drive so maybe it can affect period too cause it’s sth about sexual organs and hormones, and sth that i remembered now it can affect prolactine, a hormon which is high in women who breastfeed and pregnant women, maybe this is the cause of your symptoms.

I think you are right, clozapine affects the prolactine level even though some say it doesn’t. I just really hope it wont make me menopausal, I have heard prolactine can do that. I want to be able to have kids in the future.
