Christmas spirit waning....no money isn't helping

My joy is dwindling down because we are broke now until Christmas…not much better then either because we have to spend all the Christmas money on things we need instead of getting a break from our poverty…I still hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season.

Dealing with money must suck. I’m sorry it’s ruining Christmas for you. Maybe sometime after Christmas you and your wife can do something nice for yourselves. I wish I could help. I hope you can find something to cheer you up.

I havent done anything for Christmas for over a decade… all I do is treat it like just a normal day. My sister never invites me over for dinner. Can’t go to dad’s because me and his girlfriend can’t stand eachother

When I’m low on money I make Christmas chocolates and caramels. I wrap them with with baggies from the dollar store. You can tie the baggies with ribbons from the dollar store too. Make how much you can afford and give an equal amount of it to each person. The most important people in your life understand you don’t have lots of money for Christmas. Also buckeyes are great to make. Personally, I make buckeyes and Carmel’s and chocolate truffles.

@LilyoftheValley sounds great for you…personally when I say we don’t have any money I mean we don’t have a dime…too late for anything like that but thanks for trying to cheer me up.
