I think they’ve evolved to bring out that reaction in us, in way they look sort of like human babies. So we have domesticated them and they have become cuter over time according to our preferences. Even their meows have evolved to mimic a human baby, to bring out our nurturing instincts. All this so cats can live next to us and eat our trash and vermin.

Yes, people just don’t understand that flipping the roll makes no difference. Either way the cat ruins the roll. Flipped one way, the cat unrolls all the TP. Flipped the other way, the cat shreds the TP on the roll.

This was a matter of great debate in my childhood home where we had five cats. My dad insisted the roll should have the TP feeding out along the wall. The end result was a frustrated cat and a ruined TP roll. It was just easier to clean up cause the TP remained mostly on the roll, albeit in shreds. :smirk:

Thank You! He’s so sweet, he sleeps in bed with us. (He also tries to suckle on my wife wherever she has exposed skin, which is cute in a way but kind of weird lol)

My cat discovered toilet paper about 3 weeks ago. :frowning: I had to close the bathroom door when I wasn’t using it.

Then, I though hey why don’t I just set the toilet paper on the sink counter?

That’s the story of how I lost 3 full rolls of toilet paper after my cat swiped the rolls into the toilet and they were all wet and ruined. :open_mouth:

lol, i just put the toilet paper back up and watch him like a hawk!

Tiggy ruins rolls of toilet paper too. And when he was a little kitten, we accidentally left the lid up and he fell into the toilet. All we heard was a plonk, then Tiggy bolting through the house. And we have hardwood floors so he was skidding all over the place. It was hilariously cute.
