I hate weed. More than the heavier drugs out there.

Weed gives me a super fast heart rate. Makes me anxious.

All this research on how bad the plant is but no research on how beneficial it might be?

Also why blame the drug? It could be poor diet, no exercise and perhaps inhaling smoke that can cause these issues?

If cannabis was legal in my country I would definitely smoke it on occasion. Anything to feel better for a while having this sh-itty illness.

Cannabis really helps with anxiety, depression, it makes you enjoy food, it contains compounds that are anti- cancerogenic. It makes you creative and gives you a pause from mundane life.

I’m tired of reading news and research telling me how bad the plant is. I have friends who have smoked their whole lives without having any issues. Truth is most people tolerate weed and benefit from it as long as they don’t abuse it.

For some, yes. But its well known to cause panic attacks in a lot of people.

It has its benefits, I will admit. For cancer patients who have lost their appetite, its very effective for them getting their appetite back.

It makes a lot of people anxious though

It lifts my depression and anxiety unless i use edibles. I just cant do those. It has health risks but so do antipsychotics, lol.

There’s lots of research on both. It’s apparently helpful for glaucoma patients, but it’s also hell on lungs because people smoke it unfiltered. They also tend to inhale deeply and hold it in for longer than they would cig smoke. Gummies are probably a much safer delivery system.

Good to research all aspects of it, I say.

@Speedy thank you for that. I used to have really bad reactions to weed, then later more recently last year or so I had incredibly good reactions to it.

I get how it might not be for some, it’s a very powerful drug. Also can’t explain how I could have bad reactions then good reactions to it either though without dipping into spiritual talk that I won’t

I will say that there is strains out there with lower THC% that I can handle and enjoy.. but most of the stuff at the pot shops around here have only strains with very high THC% The higher the THC% the more I feel anxious.

If I could find a strain with only like 5% THC, i’d probably love it.
