I’d have to think about that for a while.
It’s becoming more clear to me though that it’s underlying mechanisms are very much like dreaming… The mind is sending back-logged and unnecessary information… and the conscious mind constantly tries to interpret and utilize the info in a way that makes sense. Even though doing so just jeopardizes the mind to more stress and more psychosis…
While conscious experience fuels our dreams… in the case of psychosis… the conscious experience of psychosis fuels psychosis itself… it is a perpetual recursion unless acted upon by an outside force.
or in other words… there are a few screws loose in the floor boards.

Einstein said everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
So maybe I can’t find a cure for schizophrenia, but I might be able to invent a child-proof cap that isn’t also an adult-proof cap.

Thomas Edison believed genius was one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration. You’d have to do a lot of thinking to come up with something original on schizophrenia.

I’m not sure if any thought is original, but I’ll give this a try.
My schizophrenia is a shapeshifter, taking any form, shape, sound or color it needs to get in the fricking way of my life. It’s almost as if it knows what to do to me to keep me from progressing as a person. Or maybe I’m getting in my own way.

Yes, a lungfish! Mud skipper, what-have-you. Such a Darwinian throwback, a fish with lungs. Evolution in microcosm, as from tadpole to frog in a single animal’s life. So interesting how environmental stressors select the genetic mutations which determine the future of the species.

We cured it before. I believe my type of schizophrenia comes from memories of past lives. It’s curable but hard. Not as hard as some physics problems but there is limited interest and resources to cure it. Might take a couple decades to a hundred years. It all depends. Maybe earlier…
