I can barely make myself laugh. No one thinks I’m funny. My jokes either come across as me being dumb or mean.

That’s just the dark humor vibe.
I could understand why one would fall ill to psychosis if they were the only one in their life that could appreciate dark humor.

Nowadays I laugh at a lot more things than I used to. The things I think are funny aren’t even funny. An example of a joke I like is
“Why couldn’t the man find his map?”
“Why?”
“Because he lost his map.”
I like jokes that shouldn’t even classify as jokes.
One day my mother said something about something being large, and as an instant reaction I said “you’re large,” because she always does that to me. I think it hurt her feelings. She does it to me too though, like I’ll say “that bird is ugly” and she’ll say “you’re ugly.” I thought it was funny when I said it.
you know most comedians are poor right?
I’m apparently pretty funny and an alter of mine is a pun/meme master.
