Sure, if you think you’re gonna recover you’re more likely too. It’s statistically proven according to my book. Positivity goes a long way.

Yes I believe so.

Despite having put on 20 kg when on olanzapine I was still eating cheese rolls etc everyday n cakes pretty often but decided to lose the extra weight.
I changed attitude had .
It’s been 3 days.lol

I eat smaller portions, no daily cheese etc
This can be very positive n good n I’ve already lost weight I think.
My well being is surely enchanced .

Attitude on healing , activating ,work etc can have huge impact.

Being able to put the best face on things is a valuable skill. Life doesn’t seem so hard.

My new avatar changed my attitude. I mean look at it :point_left:
Does she not look like she is throwing a tantrum and trying to blow a kiss at the same time?!

Attitude as well as how you speak.

There was a Japanese scientist who had two jars of white rice. On one jar he wrote good, positive things and compliments. On the second jar he wrote awful negative things and insults. He left the jars in a cabinet for a long time. When he went back to them, the jar on which he wrote the nice things remained the same. The rice in the jar on which he wrote the negative things had turned black and had started to decay.
Recently scientists have also done experiments with water. They found that water they had spoken to actually changed in molecular structure, depending on how negatve or positively they spoke.
Attitudes can work the same. You can create new pathways in your own mind depending on how you think. So think positive!

hey, I thought so. but then (with my own constant researching) I came to the conclusion it was just mania. I was real spiritual for that time, felt very positive and like nothin could tear me down. on top of the world, if you must.
then it all came crashing down and ended up being a very horrible experience

I had the same experience…mania is tricky tricky…

Ive settled on dreading mine next fri after a court date. Finally decided a few days ago.

Attitude and proper outlook means everything i feel, just follow the noble eightfold path, i follow these rules on life and they can guide you to nirvana:

Right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration

I wish you success in your journey. although forewarning, it definitely doesn’t help with my negative symptoms at all. I thought I didn’t shower much before I dreaded my hair, now sometimes I go 2 and a half weeks without showering… you can never tell by looking at my hair

Thats just a bonus for all the hard work it is!! Could be a good thing,… low water bills, lol.

true! haha. I get a lot of stares for my hair. and it definitely hasn’t helped with any paranoia of ‘everyone is talking about me’ because now, well… they are. lol. 'look at her hair’
I try to be real positive about it. I catch people looking over at me all the time, I just smile back. I try to be very polite

Ive had dread twice before so i know exactly what your talking about. Would be nice to have justifiable paranoia, better than delusions!!

I used to always get girls coming up asking “can i touch your hair”. That was a little weird and happened pretty regularly. Got propositioned more than usual to buy drugs, that didnt help the paranoia. But i miss my dreadies and want them back. Concerts arent the same without them, even tho i dont know if i can do concerts anymore.

What kind of shampoo do you use?

well there are different chemicals in tears of happiness and tears of sadness, so I would say attitude affects everything.

the key is to train your mind to transform by adding all good stuff to it…the mind just like the liver can repair it’s self
