I hear its good for social anxiety in some people.

But I don’t know about the thing you mentioned.

If you got obcessions I know that an antidepressiva like Mirtazapine(remeron) does a good job.

They can cause mania if you have bipolar as far as I know. Also, zoloft got me out of obsessive thought loops. I had a type of OCD for a bit it stopped in its tracks.

It later muted my emotions though/other stuff I didn’t like but that’s aside from whether or not it helps obsessiveness. The obsessiveness came back when I got off it and I cope with it in other ways.

I am on 150mg of sertraline, about 3 months in. I find it calming compared to escitalopram. It is really hard to describe how a med works. I have an OCD and it helps, but not my miracle drug. I get breakthrough OCD symptoms, but they dont spiral me into the depression

It caused psychosis for me. But everyone’s different.

I used it. It made me weird. I was hyper, impulsive, my feelings were strange.

It’s been in my med. tray for a while. I don’t really notice it. My emotions are already pretty weird.

I think it depends alot on which ap your on with it. I was orginally on olanzapine 15 mg with sertraline 50 mg and other than the sleep with olanzapine most seemed normal. Now on aripirazole and they had to reduce my sertraline to 25mg. Mostly impulsiveness.

It depends. I used to take sertraline with olanzapine. I remember being more numb on it.
