The only reason they found out clozapine was giving me QTc-prolongation was because i passed out and called an ambulance when i woke up. Everybody dismissed my tachycardia and palpitations as “anxiety” and there was absolutely zero cardiac monitoring when i was put on the meds. ALL patients on APs should be given cardiac monitoring, especially given the side effects of these meds!
