Buy on Amazon or eBay?

You need to check the guy’s feedback before buying. I wouldn’t buy big electronics online. Once I bought a 1000$ LG TV from Amazon and it came with a cracked screen by UPS. I returned it. With ebay what I like is that Paypal gives you 6 months to return or refund your items by opening a dispute.

I remember he had pretty good feedback, but it was small stuff he sold. Never a big TV or anything. Anyways, I was young and it was my first time buying off Ebay. Ebay is just a hassle because you have “file a dispute” if something is broken/doesn’t show up. On Amazon, you know it’s gonna show up and you can just return something if you want – no filing a dispute.

I am on ebay since 2004. Only once a guy didn’t send my item. The price was ridiculously low so it was fishy. I remember before 2010 there was more scammers than now. Now I rarely see them. But yeah for new items I prefer Amazon. For open box and used items ebay is cheaper. I bought a 2100$ video card for 1500$ used from ebay. Been working perfectly for over a year and it stilll had 2 years warranty left.

I use mostly walmart.com, but occasionally use Amazon.

Both, but more ebay, I can get used DVDs and books and jackets and all kinds of random stuff on sale. Amazon is good if I need it faster for the most part. Walmart I use for oil changes and other car fluid changes, and car cleaning products.

I’ve gotten a lot of stuff on Amazon and had a good experience. Never dealt with Ebay much.

I use both and have had no issues. Ebay is handy as I like paypal.

Similar pricing on many things, amazon has a monthly charge for prime, Walmart you have to spend $35+ to get free shipping which sometimes is next day.

The prices are a little higher on Walmart, but I have groceries delivered by them. I just ordered vitamins and the prices were better on Amazon, and they had what I wanted. You get free shipping at Amazon if your order is over $25.00, while it’s $35.00 at Walmart.

I don’t have a amazon account that I can remember anyway.

I buy from eBay but I’m willing to try amazon if it happens that way.

I saw some cheap things on amazon that they don’t have on eBay.
