It’s paranoia. I live during the summer partly in my allotment. During the winter there are a lot of burglaries because the houses are empty. I have never heard about people steeling books. Thieves don’t know what they are worth

In my allotment it is mostly romani people who commit the burglaries. They are so poor and miserable that they even steal canned tomatoes. Never books. I feel sorry about them.

Its very common drug addicts commit burglaries, and they look for stuff that is easy to sell. Books nowadays is given away for free.

Honestly i wouldn’t mind
if they would steal my laptop.
But i wish they will stay away
from my books.
I could buy them again,
If they would steal them.
But as they are now, i have notices,
i have underlined the important
excerpts etc. They have a personal
note, they are not just books.
They are my friends.
For example the collected poems
of Nikos Karouzos, my favourite poet.

I had 1000 more ebooks at my computer,
but it broke down and i lost them.
Now I have 1000 real books.
Not so many.
I’m young still. I will read many more till I die.

I’m a poet with several books published in Greece.
I stopped writing and reading for many years.
It was a big break, i needed it.
Now I’m preparing my new poetry book.

I was majored in science in high school and auto engineering in college. I like reading British and American literature, especially, some essays. I do like English poetry.

Also, I like reading American novels. Actually, in ancient China, especially, Tang Dynasty, there were a lot of Chinese poet.
