Do you notice the cognitive decline?

Yes, especially for the first month. Couldn’t remember how to do things at work that I was on expert committees for. I’ve gotten most of it back, but it took a lot of pushing myself.

I was lucky. My daughter ? The opposite. Diabetes, raised blood pressure and I think less than ideal liver functioning.

I took paxlovid to wipe mine out as quickly as possible and to hopefully avoid as much deleterious effects as possible. I will take it again if I ever get covid again

Paxlovid is only available by prescription and it takes seven weeks to get in to see a family doc.
