Bought some lottery tickets for next month. Feel happier!

Buying lottery tickets always cheers me up. I spend the equivalent of $20 a month on the lottery. I’m entered into every draw up until the 23rd of June now. I broke even last month because I won the equivalent of $20.

I don’t gamble in any form and am very much against it…unless it makes you happy and no resentment!!! Glad it cheers you up.

So long as I keep it to the equivalent of $20 a month I don’t mind. It’s like entertainment. :grinning:

I used to put $50 down on sports every month or two and bet on them to make the games more entertaining. But then it started stressing me out too much. Haven’t gambled on anything in more than a year.

I play Powerball when the grand prize is $250M+ (I lost last night), but I never wager more money than I can afford to lose.

I put a few bucks down.

The odds are very bad. But no more of a waste than fancy coffee, if you enjoy it as much and can afford it.

Remember us when you’re rich

I’m a big fan of lotteries. Hoping to get other people voluntarily paying more taxes so I can pay less.

I forced myself to buy some lottery tickets for a couple of days.
They were scratch offs and I lost.
I really don’t like gambling.
I think that it’s a waste of time.

I think I’m a gambler at heart so this is a safe and controlled way to do it for me.

Yeah not putting you down @everhopeful.
Lots of people buy lottery tickets.
It’s just not for me - that’s all.
I will usually buy a ticket rarely.
