Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you suffer from a blank mind and if you have found any treatment or medication that helps this. My mind is completely blank and also no emotions.
Thanks!

I don’t know tbh.
But want to welcome you to the forum.
I had it in the beginning of my illness. It took me years to recover from that. I still have issues though.
I have a blank mind if i do nothing.
I come on here to read. Sometimes its just good to engage in a topic.
Im on safe internet sites.
Otherwise i just sit and stare into nothing.
My mind is the opposite, I’m constantly thinking about and analyzing sh*t.
When my mind goes blank for a while I enjoy it.
Everything in moderation. Sometimes life will make you think on things other times life slows down and there’s nothing to think about. People have made a lot of money preaching extremes like you need a clear head to every approach in life or you need to be always thinking with no time to clear your mind. A disciplined life will give you a lot to think about especially if you engage in a growth mindset. Now, giving yourself a lobotomy by clearing your mind when you have work to do that requires thinking is a form of maladaptive coping because you are avoiding your duties. The beauty of capitalism is it creates problems that affect your life and a million people want to sell you the antidote. A lot of life is goals and discipline. Small goals and big goals. The most desired goal in life is freedom. Freedom within whatever framework you’re dealing with; small freedoms at work, maybe a coffee and breaks during downtime; being home and doing what you want to do, etc….if you have a meaning on how to live your life that meaning can make you bear many trials in life. A lot of people subscribe to this idea that meaning can make you bear life’s trials. This is just my opinion. To each their own. Good things.
I had it when I started aps but my mind is more active now which I am ambivalent about.
