I asked my barber woman if she would buzz my hair for ten bucks because she offered one time to charge me less…she agreed !! I can’t believe my new haircut, makes me feel like a hundred bucks was spent…yayyy
Even cheaper, buy a hair razor online and have wifey cut it. I’ve saved so much by cutting my people’s hair every month. You can watch YouTube videos on how to do it.
It takes me about ten minutes per person. I don’t do buzz cuts anymore because I’ve learned over the years how to cut hair. But a razor is perfect for a buzz cut to save money.
It’s worth investing in a few extension chords and finding out your neighbors schedules.
If they have outdoor electrical plug ins/outlets/receptacles, you can save a ton of money on electricity by plugging into theirs while they are not at home.
I second the razor idea. I’ve been buzzing my hair for the past 15 years. I cut it once every ~10 days. The local barber charges $20. $700 a year. Razor cost $25
@Bowens Razors use very little electricity. Sounds like using your neighbor’s juice would be more appropriate for a proper grow. Might as well grab their hose while you’re there.
I bought a set of good Wahl clippers and when it’s time for a new buzz i get one of the staff at my clubhouse to do it. Saves so much money! Plus, I’ve let a couple of others borrow them (after checking for critters) and saved them money, too. It makes me feel good to help others…
Sometimes where I live we all line up for routine haircuts. At least we used to. We don’t do that so much any more.
I go to the hairdresser once every 3 months.
It’s about 100€ a year.
I think it’s worth it.
But great to read that you were able to do a deal.
